UMC (UNITED MINERALS CORPORATION NL) 2008-11-03:
United Minerals Corporation announced receipt of significant bedrock assays, from vertical RC Drill Hole UI 362 at the Railway East Prospect, 2.3km east of the Company's Railway Prospect. The Company announced: UI 362 - 28m @ 60.5% Fe, impurities: 28m @ 0.6% Al203, 3.2% SiO2, 0.08% P. In addition to excellent Fe grades, the hole has very low levels of impurities, with the low average alumina value of 0.6% being a stand out result. Assay results have been received for 26 holes from the 35 hole program. Further results will be announced when the full assays are received.
