MEP (MINOTAUR EXPLORATION LTD) 2008-11-27:
Minotaur Exploration announced that with JV partners Mitsubishi Corporation, Mitsubishi Materials Corporation and Gateway Mining, the results of drilling from the Cowra and Boorowa JV's in NSW. Five of the six holes intersected significant sulphide mineralisation, with all holes having low base metal tenure. The results are sufficiently positive for the JV to expand the base metal search and an Airborne EM survey covering 350sqkm is planned for early 2009. Significant intersections include: Kiola - 3m @ 0.41% Zn from 84m; and 4m @ 0.13% Cu from 174m, 6m @ 0.64% Cu from 198m; and Balbardie - 3.4m @ 0.42% Cu from 71.6m, and 4m @ 0.11% Cu from 90m. In 2009 the JV is planning over 350sqkm of airborne EM surveys across the two project area.
