Resource stock updates 2008-05-30

ASX resource company drilling updates -

ABU (ABM RESOURCES NL) 2008-05-29:
ABM Resources announced a 1,300m diamond drilling program completed at King Prospect, Erayinia Base Metals JV. Drilling defined a potentially very significant 4m sphalerite (zinc) rich massive sulphide intercept in drill hole ECD132. This indicates the Northern Lens may be much larger than previously interpreted. Assay results from drill hole ECD132 are awaited. Massive sulphide mineralisation also intersected in the other two diamond holes.

ALK (ALKANE RESOURCES LIMITED) 2008-05-29:
Alkane Resources announced that the major resource definition drilling program at Caloma has been completed with 186 RC holes totalling 22,034m. Further extension drilling will be scheduled once the development has been approved. The resource model should be completed by the end of September and will be incorporated into the TGP Definitive Feasibility Study. Results for another 28 holes have been received and results for the remaining 37 RC holes and 19 core holes will be released as they become available. Selected results include PE 347, 16m grading 3.10g/t gold from 36m including 8m grading 5.62g/t gold from 37m, PE 348 19m grading 2.65g/t gold from 41m including 6m grading 6.57g/t gold from 41m, PE 350 13m grading 2.19g/t gold from 50m including 4m grading 3.88g/t gold from 55m;.
