AQA (AQUILA RESOURCES LIMITED) 2009-03-18:
Aquila Resources announced an 84% increase in the Measured and Indicated Coal Resources, to 350Mt, of its Eagle Downs Hard Coking Coal Project. This includes a substantial maiden Measured Resource of 227Mt, which demonstrates the world class nature of the Project. The Company announced that total coal Resources have increased by approx. 100Mt to 878Mt. Further coal quality data is pending as part of the Stage 3 and 4 exploration and appraisal drilling programmes and it is expected to allow a further re-allocation of the resources to Measured and Indicated status.
