ALK (ALKANE RESOURCES LIMITED) 2009-06-04:
Alkane Resources provided a Tomingley Gold project update, reporting 33 RC holes have been completed within the conceptual pit shell of the Caloma deposit to upgrade the resource status. Results have been received for 20 holes. Significant intersections include: 10m @ 4.49g/t Au from 119m, incl. 5m @ 7.89g/t Au from 122m; 3m @ 4.85g/t Au from 178m, also 4m @ 15.42g/t Au from 186m; and 6m @ 3.98g/t Au from 30m, and 3m @ 9.60g/t Au from 89m. The Company announced that the Definitive Feasibility Study is progressing and remains on schedule for completion early October.
