BUL (BLUE ENERGY LIMITED) 2009-07-29:
Blue Energy announced that the Itude 3 well is currently coring ahead at a depth of 221m in the Walloon Coal Measures. Itude 3 is the last well in the current 3 well program to evaluate the Walloon Coal Measures in ATP854P. The second well, Itude 2 reached a total depth of 281m and has been suspended pending later completion as a monitoring well, having achieved its objectives and intersecting 9m of net coal. Lucas-Mitchell Rig 180 moved off the Itude 2 location on 24 July. Itude 3 spudded on 25 July and will be drilled to a depth of approx. 380m. Following the completion of the ATP854P drilling program the rig will move to ATP896P in the Oakey/Millmerran area west of Toowoomba and commence a 5 well Coal Seam Gas corehole program.
