AMX (AMPELLA MINING LIMITED) 2009-10-20:
Ampella Mining announced that the first phase of a new 20,000m drill program, which commenced on 7th September 2009 at its Batie West gold project in Burkina Faso, West Africa is progressing well and drilling should be completed by the second week in November 2009. Heavy rains early in the drill program hampered access to some drill sites but conditions have improved and no further delays are envisaged as the wet season abates. A total of 31 new RC drill holes, for approximately 3,549m, have been completed for resource definition at Konkera Main and gold assay results are pending.
