IAU (INTREPID MINES LIMITED) 2009-10-21:
Intrepid Mines provided Tujuh Bukit Oxide drilling update, reporting that ongoing diamond drilling of the Tumpangpitu Prospect has continued to define encouraging gold-silver oxide zones in the Zone B oxide zone. Drill activity is also to commence in new zones identified by gold-in-soil surface sampling. Significant intersections include: 78m @ 0.88g/t AuEqv; 76m @ 1.76g/t AuEqv; 20m @ 1.07g/t AuEqv; and 20m @ 4.07g/t AuEqv. The company announced further that a deep hole to target very encouraging copper-gold-silver mineralisation intersected to date in the lower portions of the oxide holes is planned for the current quarter.
